While on vacation in Boston, Mom & I watched "Neighborhood Kitchens" on WGBH and saw the episode about Simply Khmer restaurant in Lowell. Great episode with interesting recipes. We made the spring rolls (Nam Chow) last week. Took a long time to find rice paper-- none of our regular grocery stores (Stater Brothers, Gerrard's, Clark's, Trader Joe's) had it. Finally stopped at the Asian Market on Redlands Boulevard and it was there, tucked behind a couple of big cartons of noodles.
This is a "go-to" recipe. I'm thinking of all sorts of variations... maybe turkey, cranberries and stuffing leftovers with Mama Stamberg's Cranberry Relish?
